BOARD OF DIRECTORS

 Committees

ROCS’ Board relies on its committees to help advise and manage certain functions, and invites parents and community members to use their passions and talents by serving on them.  

• The Finance Committee meeting occurs most Thursdays at 2pm. Email fincomm@raleighoakcharter.org to confirm meeting date and receive a Google Meet link.
• The Development Committee is responsible for planning and conducting fundraising efforts for ROCS, including capital campaigns and grants. 
• The ROCk Forest Stakeholder Committee is an ad-hoc group tasked with planning for our new facility (near WakeMed) and our move there in summer 2025. It will meet the first Wednesday of the month as needed.
• The Governance Committee ensures an efficient, educated, legally compliant board and recruits new members.
• The Enrollment and Outreach Committee helps plan and execute efforts to promote ROCS within the community, including recruitment/enrollment activities.
• Announcements about these committees’ meetings will be made following NC Open Meeting Law requirements as meeting dates are identified.
