Dear ROCS Families,

I hope that your Winter Break provided you opportunities to reconnect with loved ones, and to have some time to relax and recharge. We’re so glad to see you and your children again as we joyfully enter the first full week of 2024!

One of the most exciting developments that have come with the new year is the opening of our 2024 lottery application. If you have siblings you’d like to enroll at ROCS, please be sure to submit your application. This would also be a good time to encourage other like-minded families to apply to ROCS while slots are still available.

Also, please remember that we still need your support with our Root to Rise Capital Campaign. We have been humbled by the level of support we have received so far, but we need that support to continue to grow. Please consider making an investment in our beloved community so we can finish the year strong.

In the spirit of “fresh starts,” we’ll be working on auditing our records to maintain compliance with state regulations and to establish smoother communications. While these situations will not apply to everyone, we ask that if you receive individual communications regarding health records and/or attendance, you provide the required information as soon as possible.

We are also updating our families’ contact information. You may see a link to this message in your text and/or email that was sent using the information that’s currently in PowerSchool. For anyone who did not receive the link through those means, it’s possible that the contact information in PowerSchool needs to be updated. Please use this form to provide information that we can update in PowerSchool: Contact Information Form.

We still have a bit of Winter ahead of us, but we’re looking forward to the warmer and brighter days of Spring, and all of the fun school activities that come with that season!

In partnership,

Dr. J
