Dear ROCS Parents,
Here’s some news and previews for our upcoming week:
- Many thanks to everyone who planned and attended the Spirit Night at Defy on Thursday – we had a great turnout and the kids had a lot of fun!
- Don’t forget that we dismiss at 1:00 this Friday March 8.
- Surveys:
- I hope the news of the move to our permanent home taking place at the beginning of the 2025-26 school year helps to bring some clarity to your planning for the upcoming year. You will be seeing a survey from our managing partners CSP regarding your plans for returning to ROCS next year. This information is important to our planning for classes, and for our lottery draw coming up on 3/12.
- The 2024-25 calendar is under development, and we will be seeking your input regarding some of its elements. A survey gathering calendar input will be sent to you this week.
- Letters were sent home providing background information regarding the content and process of considering a new math curriculum. Included in those communications is a link to gather your input. Please provide your feedback by March 14.
- Lastly, you can expect an announcement concerning our Root to Rise campaign in the coming weeks. ROCS parent and Board member Zak Ciotti made this promotional video for the campaign that really captures the ROCS spirit. I hope you enjoy it!
